Established 1969
Lucan United is a proud FAI Club Mark Two football club that plays a vital role in fostering the love of football within the community. Currently, the club boasts a remarkable membership of over 600 players, encompassing 37 competitive teams and an exciting underage Academy for budding football enthusiasts. The teams include representation in prestigious leagues such as the Leinster Senior League (LSL) with two dedicated squads competing at a high level, as well as participation in the Amateur Football League (AFL) with an over-35s Men’s team and over 30 teams both girls and boys in the DDSL. Additionally, our Academy caters to children aged 4 to 7, with over 70 young participants actively developing their skills in a fun and inclusive environment.

We aim to deliver a football experience that is positive, high-quality, and thoroughly enjoyable, all within a secure and supportive atmosphere. Our goal is to provide players with a range of opportunities tailored to their individual aspirations and abilities, ensuring access to recreational, developmental, and competitive levels of football. From casual players looking to enjoy the game to those with ambitions to excel, we are dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our participants.
